Q. What is your policy regarding press checks and pre production samples?
A. It is always preferable to have a client present when printing a project for the first time, and we strongly encourage this. Notice is given in advance of the press check to make it convenient for all parties. In the event that a client cannot be present we will be happy to provide a sample and ship overnight to any destination for approval. Any costs associated with any sampling scenario will be agreed upon by both parties in advance. The same applies for producing rep samples or low volume runs prior to production.

Q. Can Coastal Printworks provide me with any type of garments or promotional products?
A. Being that our specialty is wearables the promotional products we provide may not be as varied as an ad specialty company. However, if your needs include tee-shirts, sweatshirts, aprons, towels, tote-bags or hats we can certainly be of service. As always, you will be dealing with a direct, wholesale source not a middleman or broker.

Q. Do you provide any custom packaging and fulfillment services?
A. Yes. Over the years Coastal Printworks has invested in several pieces of state-of-the-art equipment that enable us to hang tag a wide variety of products as well as individually fold and polybag most garments. In addition we will add client supplied polybag stickers where necessary and custom box your order. Shipping is handled on a client specific basis to any destination worldwide.

Q. Does your ink department offer custom color matching and / or PMS color matching?
A. Yes on both counts and much more. Our ink department has devoted years to developing over 1300 in house colors that will match most any situation or expectation. Color swatches help the client to identify a match and our customized data base ensures very accurate repeatability. In house samples and an extensive data base of every project provide us with the necessary information to make printing reorders a trouble free process. We also offer a wide variety of special inks such as puff inks, metallic and glow in the dark inks.

Q. Do you offer embroidery as well as tee shirt screen-printing?
A. Yes. Our embroidery capabilities are as state-of-the-art and quality driven as our tee shirt screen-printing. With our ability to embroider up to 125,000 stitches in as many as 12 colors it is a sure bet that we will render your logo or image to your satisfaction. We also have access to a wide variety of custom garments from bowling and golf shirts to crew jackets so please feel free to inquire about these items.

Q. What are your turnaround times?
A. Our typical turnaround time is 2 weeks. More complicated projects that require detailed color separations from our outside service bureaus or extensive pre production sampling may require slightly more time. As always, we strive to accommodate all of our clients needs and we pride ourselves on making all of our quoted deadlines.

Q. What are your minimums?
A. Typically our minimums are 24 pieces for screen-printing if we are supplying the product as well as the service of printing. Being that we are a custom shop and all of our clients have different needs we will evaluate each project on its own and work with the client to achieve their goals from sampling through production.

Q. Do you offer contract printing?
A. Yes. Printing customer supplied inventory has higher minimums and we thoroughly evaluate each project with all of our clients prior to quoting any contract printing project.
